Diane Burke - Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney & Probate Solicitor

Diane is the principal Solicitor at D Burke & Co with experience in a diverse range of Wills and Probate matters.

Diane enables you to make your Will/Power of Attorney and undertake Probate no matter how simple or complex your situation.

Her friendly and practical approach will put you at ease during the difficult time following the loss of a loved one.

She studies for her Law degree at Liverpool John Moores’ University. Diane then completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Huddersfield.

Diane qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 having completed her two-year training contract at a firm of local solicitors in Morley. Upon qualifying, she worked as a Solicitor in Morley before moving to a Wakefield firm of solicitors as Head of the Wills and Probate department.

In addition to her full STEP qualification, Diane is a full member of the Institute of Professional Will Writers (IPW) which means Diane complies with the IPW Code of Practice which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and is also a full member of the Solicitors for the Elderly group.

Diane grew up in Morley and continues to live there with her husband Damian and three sons Arthur, Peadar and Donnacha.

Sue Gwynne non practicing solicitor

Sue Gwynne - Non Practicing Solicitor

Sue is our Office Administrator, and her main role is assisting Diane with compliance, training and procedures.  She is a non-practicing solicitor, having qualified and previously worked in Berkshire, before moving to Drighlington and starting a family.

In her spare time, Sue enjoys family walks with her Labrador and is also Team Manager for her son’s Cleckheaton Rugby team.

Luke Robinson Morley Solicitor

Luke Robinson - Conveyancing & Property Solicitor

Luke is a Solicitor at D Burke & Co and primarily deals with the conveyancing and property work, including probate sales, freehold and leasehold sale and purchases, voluntary registration, and transfers of part, acting for both individuals and commercial clients.

Luke joined the firm in 2014 as a paralegal and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019.  He originally studied Geography at Sheffield and upon attaining his undergraduate degree, decided to convert to Law. 

Luke successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with commendation at York College of Law, then went on to achieve a distinction in the Legal Practice Course, studied at Leeds University of Law in 2016.

Luke enjoys the insights into the local Morley and Leeds area which conveyancing provides.  He is known for providing excellent client care and advising clients in a simple and straightforward manner.

In his spare time, Luke enjoys skiing, attending music festivals and snoozing on the sofa with his cat Prince.

Solicitor Hannah Buck

Hannah Buck - Trainee Solicitor

Hannah is a trainee solicitor with the firm and assists the solicitors with their work regarding Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Conveyancing. 

Hannah graduated from the University of Leeds with a Law degree in 2022 and is now enjoying stepping into the legal profession. Hannah hopes to train as a Solicitor in the future. 

She started as an admin assistant at the firm during her final year of university and was offered the role of Paralegal after graduating.

Hannah grew up in Cheshire and attended Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College where she mostly enjoyed studying Law and Politics. 

Hannah now lives permanently in Leeds with her partner.  Although she enjoys living in a bigger city after moving to Leeds for her studies, she is happy to be working in a smaller town like Morley which is reminiscent of her home.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys working on crochet and knitting projects and making artwork. Hannah also has a love for animals and is always pleased when a client has a pet roaming around.
