SFE (Solicitors For the Elderly) qualified - expertise specific to older/elderly ladies & gentlemen - We are qualified to hold The Older Client Law in Practice award and the Older Client Care in Practice award. Diane Burke - Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney & Probate

With over 14 years experience in a diverse range of Wills and Probate matters Diane enables you to make your Will/Power of Attorney and undertake Probate no matter how simple or complex your situation.

Her friendly and practical approach will put you at ease during the difficult time following the loss of a loved one.

In addition to her full STEP qualification mentioned above, Diane is a full member of the Institute of Professional Will Writers (IPW) which means Diane complies with the IPW Code of Practice which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and is also a full member of the Solicitors for the Elderly group.

Diane is the principal solicitor at D Burke & co. She studied for her Law degree at Liverpool John Moores' University. Diane then completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Huddersfield.

Diane completed her two year training contract at a firm of local solicitors in Morley. Upon qualifying, she worked as a solicitor in Morley before moving to a Wakefield firm of solicitors as Head of the Wills and Probate department.

Diane grew up in Morley and continues to live there with her husband Damian and three sons Arthur, Peadar and Donnacha.

Luke Robinson

Luke is a Solicitor at D Burke & Co.

He originally studied Geography in Sheffield, and upon attaining his undergraduate degree, decided to convert to Law.

Luke successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with commendation at York College of Law, then went on to achieve a distinction in the Legal Practice Course, studied at Leeds University of Law in 2016.

Luke joined D Burke & Co as a paralegal; he then completed his two-year training contract with the firm and is now fully qualified.

Luke enjoys tackling complex tax problems and discovering family histories associated with Heir Hunter work.

Katie Johnston

Having graduated with a degree in Law in 2017 and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2019, Katie is now a Trainee Solicitor at D Burke & Co. 

Katie is resourceful, patient and takes great satisfaction in helping clients; she is looking forward to qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2021.
